Thirteenth edition for the appointment with the Milanesiana, a cultural event organized by Elisabetta Sgarbi, who offers to an audience of loyal but not only multiple cultural evenings in late June and mid July.
The Festival, sponsored by the Province of Milan, with the support of the Municipality of Milan, in collaboration with the Lombardy Region, organized by The Musical Afternoons / Teatro dal Verme with the contribution of Fondazione Corriere della Sera, The Lotto and Pirelli, offers 19 evenings, dedicated to international culture from June 30 to July 18. In the spotlight screenings, concerts, readings, theater performances and exhibitions, and, as usual, the aperitif with the authors, by the Corriere della Sera Foundation. 127 events in total, a multifaceted international artistic proposal (which ranges between knowledge and various countries), characterized by a strong desire to spread throughout the territory. In fact, next to the historical places of the city of Milan, who host the always Milanesiana (Sala Buzzati Foundation's Corriere della Sera, the Teatro Dal Verme and Space Oberdan the Province of Milan), many others are the spaces where citizens unpublished pink bloom: Royal Villa, Auditorium HQ Pirelli and two community libraries: the library-Affori Villa Litta and the Library Valvassori Peroni. Also, after the success of last year, the rose of Milanesiana back to bloom in Turin in the courtyard of Palazzo Carignano, with a special evening on July 4th and an exhibition open to the public July 4 to 14.
But the main novelty of 2012 is the city of Bergamo, where the rose blooms for the first time, inaugurating at the XIII edition. Lab Italcementi - Red Kilometer, where one can find for three days (June 30, 1 and July 2) science, music and literature.

Born from a project by Elisabetta Sgarbi to cross the international leaders of the various arts and culture, The Milanesiana again splits and multiplies its structure and runs in seven directions of art and culture, different and converging at the same time , offering the public a dense network of meetings and unique opportunities for comparison with the most prominent exponents of world culture: more than 140 international guests representing 15 countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Great Britain, India, Iceland, Israel, Moldova, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, U.S.), award-winning artists including a Nobel Prize for Literature, two Pulitzer Prizes for Literature, a Pulitzer Prize for Nonfiction, Prizes Witch 3, 1 Prince of Asturias Prize, 1 Nonino Prize, Prix Médicis 1, 1 Oscar, 1 Golden Globe, a Palme d'Or, Golden Lion 1, 4 David di Donatello, 1 Coppa Volpi, 2 Ubu Prize, Fields Medal 1.
